Rip off
Bought membership for my wife and myself for a year
Cant ever visit on a weekend
Or bank holidays
We both work so would have to take time off to visit
Will not be throwing my money down the drain again
Surely a membership should allow people some sort of visiting privilige
RIP OFF
Longleat - you were fabulous! (6th July 2022 - VIP Bronze Experience
We arrived by 09:30 and were allowed to pass the kiosks around 09:50. We headed straight to the jungle cruise which did not disappoint. Good to get there early as there weren't even 30 of us taking the first cruise of the day as such we were able to move from side to side of the boat for photo opportunities. Saw the hippos immediately and before even setting off - they were snoozing but still good to see. Next up were the black and white colobus monkeys, as well as seals and sea lions. We then saw the gorillas and then circled back to the seals and sealions where you were given the opportunity to feed them. We didn't partake as we didn't want our hands to smell like fish but the other visitors did and we were entertained and also got some good photos, whilst managing to stay dry and away from the splashes.
We took a slow walk around the animal discovery area and spent a bit of time with the Koala's - a couple of which didn't even look real until they blinked or ate. Also took a short walk around the family farmyard but didn't feel the need to visit the adventure zone as we are a child free couple.
We had our VIP Bronze Experience booked for 14:00-16:00 and it was the full two hours down to and including the last few seconds. Our guide, Ben, was fantastic! Very informative and knowledgeable, friendly and funny, as well as extremely passionate about his job. In the car was the two of us and one other visitor, and of course Ben. When we say we went off road and got up close to the tigers, lions, cheetahs, the extremely mischievous monkeys (a number of which had very small babies), red deer (who we also fed) as well as the Zebras and Giraffes, we honestly do not exaggerate! We highly recommend the VIP Bronze Experience as much as we do Ben. If you have the opportunity to book this tour, do it, you will not be disappointed!
Thank you.

Unnecessary restrictions and dreadful organisation
Went to a concert here last night – will not return unless management team has a major rethink.
Prevented from bringing any food or drink (or an umbrella) to the concert and expected to pay for overpriced food and drinks, we were then prevented from leaving the concert early to ensure that the road was clear to allow the performers to leave immediately after the concert!
Great shame as the concert itself was good (but not the dreadful warm-up act) and the location/setting is fantastic.

Visited longleat yesterday for the first time wow…,
We had an amazing time. The drive through safari part was amazing especially the monkeys the trying to figure out where they are on your car when you can only hear them equals to a lot of laughter the only thing I would bare in mind is the waiting to get in and out of each part but then you can see why as it’s to keep the animals safe and where they should be.
The place itself stunning my personal favourite is the secret garden.
The feeding of the birds and giraffes made for an unforgettable memory for our children which they will remember for a life time.
Only gripe is the park needs to be more marked out we have managed to miss quite a bit even down in the African village as it doesn’t state what’s down there and up in the walking zoo part we missed some stuff.
However, you will notice we have given 4 star and this is for one reason and one reason only …. There was absolutely no sign of Ian! We as a family were desperate to see him after watching animal park I don’t know what we were more excited for seeing the animals or meeting Ian.
But overall an amazing experience one you would never regret having.

Don't go on a Bank holiday.
The drive through the Carnivore enclosure saw us sitting in a traffic jam for around an hour. Too many cars were allowed in and it was gridlock. Plus the second car in our party was hit by a gate and then the staff asked for insurance details in case the gate was damaged! We enjoyed the walk-through zoo in the morning but queue too long to go on train and boat. They should ration tickets and not be so greedy. DON"T GO ON A BANK HOLIDAY
Absolutely disgusting!!
Absolutely disgusting!!! Over £300 spent on a VIP day, they do not have the curtesy to reply to emails or phone calls. DO NOT BOOK A VIP DAY WITH LONGLEAT. Worst customer service I have ever experienced, this is coming from a user experience designer btw!

Had a fab time but it using a debit card for items that cost a quid is ridiculous . We have toive with Co vid . This is not helpful to kids and adults who have a disability .

This was my 3rd time coming here and am absolutely gutted with some of the changes.
I was absolutely discusted on my trip here today, I was told they do not accept cash!!!! Yes the queens money is not allowed!
I Do not travel with bank cards ever, why would I if I have cash? So I was turned down for food and drinks at every shop and stall. Never in my life have I heard of such nonsense, I literally cannot believe it!
So because my family were hungry and ridiculously thirsty we have to leave!!!!
I'm so so angry and appalled by this! What right do you have to say that MONEY is not acceptable???
One of the best things about Longleat, was always the visit to Longleat house. Now it's a guided tour ONLY. This lasts about an hour. Your no longer allowed to wonder off and look around the beautiful property in your own time, you have to stay and listen to the guide. I think their should at least be an option! Also if anyone has ever been here, you'll always remember the Longleat ghost Shadow in the hall walking up the stairs. As a kid this was AMAZING..... Yet this has been taken away also!
Train ride was not in use. Maps are no longer given out and the place is not signed well at all so we were literally walking in circles.
Beware
Oh my goodness, if you want to do business with an organisation that hasn't come across the concepts of 'cuctomers' and 'service' then this is the one for you. Booked accommodation and within 24-48 hours it became clear that the property and booking information was misleading and unsuitable. Will they refund? Of course not. Perhaps that is why a booking confirmation comes from 'profitroom.com.' If you read their Ts&Cs it is pretty clear that this is an organisation that is about them and no-one else. Having run a giant service organisation the winning principle is that healthy profits and loyal customers come through excellence of service; with its current staff and operating methods Longleat Enterprises has a very long way to go before it grasps this. A quite appalling experience leaving a very sour taste.

Please read and believe these reviews, AWFUL customer service
Please DO NOT purchase any gift experiences from these, just awful customer service, phones do not answer and emails not replied to. They have hugely over subscribed these experiences, got one xmas 2020, rang 3 days later and the first booking available was 11 months later!!!! That was then cancelled and next was 9 months later. Disgraceful and not worth the hassle for an experience that cost hundreds of pounds. I wish we had read these reviews first, this many negatives from the public say a lot.

COVID HOTSPOT!!
We have booked longleat including santa train are are due to go in just 2 days time. We live local to longleat and unfortunately the southwest is a covid hotspot at the moment with both our children contacting the virus from school, now we both have the virus and must isolate until the middle of next week. We have tried to contact longleat to get this booking changed or refunded but they are literally IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of. We have emailed but no response and there is little to no information on the website except booking are non refundable. I have no doubt that people in the same position may just consider going rather than lose hundreds of pounds, it did cross my mind but common sense came through. For such a place at this time of year where they have christmas/new year events to have NO customer service whatsoever is disgusting and I am sure there will be plenty of people with covid visiting rather than losing the high prices they have paid.

A tale of woes, with one shining light
I am amazed that Longleat are still selling their All in One tickets. I've seen on these reviews that someone was caught out last year. Their T&Cs do state that they do not provide refunds - but come one guys, who reads T&Cs and if you hide behind them then there is something wrong. We bought all in one tickets in a rush because they ares so booked up and then realised All in One did not include Santa. I then discovered on looking further that their website was, perhaps, not as intuitive as it could be and complained. It took me three goes to get through to a lady called Nicola White who was understanding, empathetic and really helpful. By working together we managed to resolve the issue. But, it is disappointing to see that others have had the problem before us and that is reflected in the two stars.
poor experience and no customer service
Having visited longleat a few times in the past and always having good experience, we decided to visit again since our last visit was over 7 years ago and we had moved up north.
Having booked our tickets online in advance, we arrived and having waited about 30min in the queue to get into the park, we then had to wait another 20min at another side of the park as the signs took us to the main entrance and then we had to queue again for the safari park.
Once in, we started to make our way around . Having parked and got out, immediately noticed like many other companies, Covid was used as an excuse to not run certain experiences. The Leemer walk was closed apparently due to covid even thought it was outside. Lots of events cancelled due to Covid yet still they charge you full price for the entry.
We were also told we could go around for a second time in case we missed some animals, but when we got to the entry, they had closed as apparently again last entry had been moved forward to 3pm despite the app telling you it was 3:30
All in , a very disappointing visit and an experience not to repeat again.
If you are thinking about going, perhaps wait another 12 months until companies stop to use covid as an excuse and run events as advertised.
